Hull || About Us || Health & Safety
As one of our core values, Hull 's employees
understand our health and safety culture is paramount to the
way we do business and it is embraced throughout the organization
at all levels. This philosophy also carries over to our work
with subcontractors, as Hull only contracts with firms that
have strong health and safety programs in place. Hull 's health
and safety program raises the bar with strong metrics for
accountability, auditing, expectations and goals. By placing
a high value on health and safety, Hull is committed to ensuring
our employees and everyone with whom we do business "Work
Safe."
Hull Meets One Million Hours with No-Lost Time Milestone
Hull is proud to have achieved One Million Work Hours without
a Lost Time Accident. This top honor is considered the measure
of a company truly dedicated and committed to an effective
health and safety system that provides a safe work environment
for all employees. It is the top measure of success in working
safely. It also further demonstrates that Safety is one of
Hull's core values.
It has taken Hull nearly two years to reach this milestone.
That is two years of work activities that cover a vast array
of risks at our work sites, of new employees working in unfamiliar
surroundings and tasks, of more experienced employees leading
the way to successfully handling unanticipated H&S issues
whenever they arose, and two years of driving defensively
to manage one of our biggest risks.
Achieving this One Million hour mark is recognized as a significant
achievement by many of our clients as well and also helps
position Hull favorably as we compete with other firms for
new and expanded business oppportunities. We attribute this
success to all of our employees as they have represented their
individual commitment and dedication to excellence that has
made our company a top performer in our industry.
