Wind Power Facility Preparation of Supporting Studies

Hull provided consulting services for the Timber Road I and Timber Road II wind power facilities in Paulding County. Hull developed two studies in support of Horizon Wind Energy’s application to the OPSB for a Certificate of Environmental Compatibility and Public Need. Hull developed a preliminary geotechnical review of the project area, examining the suitability of the soils and underlying geology of the Project Area for suitability for a wind energy facility. Hull also prepared a hydrogeology study of the Project Area, examining groundwater resources, flood plains and other environmental features that might be affected by the proposed project. Both studies included discussion of the impact the proposed project could have on the environmental features examined in each report.
