Glass Manufacturing Company – Merger and Acquisition

Tennessee, Oklahoma, Michigan + Mexico

Hull performed an Environmental Due Diligence Acquisition Evaluation of six flat glass manufacturing facilities located in Tennessee, Oklahoma, Michigan and Mexico as part of a business acquisition evaluation by an international flat glass manufacturer.

Following a consistent evaluation protocol developed in partnership with the Client, on-site evaluation teams consisting of both Hull and Client personnel performed liability assessment tasks at each manufacturing location.

This work included Phase I environmental site assessments, the work plan for the Phase II investigations and sampling and the summary of potential issues of concern at each facility including corrective action cost estimates.

A findings and assessment report was developed in conjunction with functional due diligence assessments (e.g. labor, pension, engineering, sales, health care, etc.) prepared by internal and independent 3rd party consulting groups.  The results of the liability assessment were used by the Client in determining the viability of the business acquisition.
