Road Use Maintenance Agreements for Oil & Gas Operations

Multiple Counties, OH

Hull is working with several major and local oil and gas companies to provide roadway assessments in conjunction with Road Use Maintenance Agreements (RUMAs) during well pad construction, drilling and completions operations and midstream pipelines and hydrocarbon processing facility construction.

Assessments have been performed on over 50 miles of roadways, most of which are a mile or two in length, to assess the pre-existing conditions along the established designated roadway route on county and township roads

Road assessments include photographic and video documentation, pavement condition rating (using Ohio Department of Transportation guidance), culvert inventory/assessment, overhead obstruction identification and measurement, identification of underground utility lines, pavement coring for roadway section observation, and geotechnical exploration for subgrade conditions.

Results of the assessments have been used to negotiate with counties and/or townships to ensure a practical and cost-efficient approach to road maintenance and repair by the user.
