Hull is the environmental consultant for multiple refining complexes in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Hull provided technical support and data evaluations including a comprehensive review of facility-wide Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) environmental remediation liabilities to support the post purchase property transfer of an active refinery.
The refinery purchase and property transfer necessitated the completion of a Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) Part B Post-Closure permit application for multiple regulated land treatment units (LTUs) at the refinery. As part of the permitting process, Hull conducted a comprehensive review of all relevant regulatory citations and environmental documents including historical operating and post-closure permits.
As part of the on-going site work, Hull developed a Site Conceptual Model (SCM) for the facility and presented this interpretation to the regulatory agency. Providing mechanisms to further refine the SCM and to meet certain provisions within the facility consent order as well as fulfilling Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) requirements, Hull prepared comprehensive investigation work plans, sampling and analysis plans, and quality assurance project plans for regulated SWMUs and AOCs.
Corrective Measures and remediation at the facility have been evaluated on the basis of facility-wide exposure risks, allowing a streamline, logical approach to the future investigation and remediation management at the Refinery.
