Hull, in partnership with Prime AE, provided a detailed design memorandum for a number of improvements to the City of Pataskala’s existing Water Reclamation facility.
The proposed improvements that were evaluated include oxidation ditch aeration options, phosphorus removal alternatives, solutions to biosolids issues and miscellaneous improvements to overall operations. Design and construction of a new sludge press was completed in 2018.
The improvements to the wastewater facility are scheduled for completion in 2021 utilizing Ohio EPA’s Nutrient Reduction discounted funding. These improvements include replacement of disc aerators with jet aeration, chemical phosphorus removal system, addition of a clarifier splitter box, upgrades to RAS piping and miscellaneous electrical and SCADA work.
