During the late spring and summer of 2015, Hull provided a large producer in the Eagle Ford basin in Southern Texas with a Rapid Response program due to a materials event.
Hull came in with project management, sampling quality assurance/quality control, risk assessment and environmental media reporting due to a large well control event that resulted in the release of oil and produced water over ranch and residential land.
The area of investigation was approximately 2.5 miles by one mile. Hull assisted in establishing sampling protocols and assessment work plans during the emergency response phase of the project, and assisted the client in communications and meetings with regulators.
Hull developed site-specific risk-based screening levels for potentially impacted beef cattle forage and crops intended for use as chicken feed. Hull has also assisted in remedial strategies for impacted soils and forage, and assisted the client in communicating investigative findings and risk with land owners and residents.
